ACHTUNG: Auf Grund der anhaltenden Corona Pandemie wird diese Performance mit nur einer einzigen Performance-Zeug*in umgesetzt. Die Dokumentation der Performance obliegt der anwesenden Zeug*in in ihrer ganz eigenen Art und Weise. 

Als bildende Künstlerin arbeitet Beate Linne auf dem Gebiet der Performancekunst, sowie Video und Installation. Dabei lotet sie die Möglichkeiten der Kombination dieser Kunstformen aus.
Neben ihren Solowerken hat sie im Künstler Duo Linne&Vaara, mit Black Market International, Bálint Sombathy und anderen zusammengearbeitet.

Sie hat mehrere internationale Performance Art Festivals wie Transart Communication (HU), das internationale Performance Art Festival Blow! (DE), das internationale Live Art Festival OPEN19 (CN) co-kuratiert. Sie ist Initiatorin des internationalen Performance Art Meetings NO W HERE, welches 2019 erstmals in Helsinki (FI) stattfand.

Der internationale Austausch mit Künstler*innen aus verschiedenen Disziplinen und Kulturen, bildet eine wichtige Grundlage ihrer Arbeit. Ihre Werke werden international in unterschiedlichen Kontexten präsentiert. Im Rahmen zweier kürzlich abgeschlossenen Künstler*innen-Residenzen in Italien, entstanden neben ihren Soloarbeiten, Performances in Zusammenarbeit mit Musiker*innen, Schriftsteller*innen und Schauspieler*innen.

Für die kommende Performance in Hannover, im Studio Ilka Theurich wird sie eine spezielle Arbeit entwickeln, die sich mit der besonderen Begegnung auseinandersetzt, in der nur ein Betrachter*in Zeug*in der Performance wird.

Beate Linne meets Benjamin Petersen

ATTENTION: Due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, this performance will be implemented with only one performance witness. The witness who is present is responsible for documenting the performance in her/his very own way.

As a visual artist, Beate Linne works in the field of performance art, as well as video and installation. In doing so, she explores the possibilities of combining these art forms.
In addition to her solo works, she has worked in the artist Duo Linne & Vaara, with Black Market International, Bálint Sombathy and others.

She has several international performance art festivals such as Transart Communication (HU), the international performance art festival Blow! (DE), co-curated the international Live Art Festival OPEN19 (CN). She is the initiator of the international Performance Art Meeting NO W HERE, which took place for the first time in Helsinki (FI) in 2019.

The international exchange with artists from different disciplines and cultures forms an important basis of their work. Her works are presented internationally in different contexts. As part of two recently completed artist residencies in Italy, in addition to her solo works, she performed performances in collaboration with musicians, writers and actors.
