Roos Hoffmann wurde in den Niederlanden (1978) geboren. Sie ist eine multidisziplinäre Performance-Künstlerin, die vor allem mit Performances, öffentlichen Interventionen, Installationen und Künstlerbüchern arbeitet. Roos Hoffmann lädt oft Menschen an einem Ort im öffentlichen Raum oder im Kunstraum ein, sich ihren Performances anzuschließen. Die Möglichkeiten der Interaktion und Kommunikation in Bezug auf DieRäumlichkeit sind wiederkehrende Themen in ihrer Arbeit.
Roos Hoffmann wurde in Harlingen im Norden der Niederlande geboren und lebt heute in Den Haag. Sie hat einen Master Fine Arts von der Royal Academy of Art, KABK, in Den Haag (2008). Außerdem hat sie einen Master-Abschluss in Philosophie der Künste und Kultur von der Universität Maastricht (2003). Ihre Arbeiten sind an verschiedenen Orten in den Niederlanden, in Deutschland, Polen, Portugal, Italien, Thailand, Spanien und den USA zu sehen. Roos Hoffmann ist Gastprofessorin, lehrt Performance Art an der Royal Academy Den Haag KABK und war Kuratorin mehrerer Ausstellungen.

Roos Hoffmann is born in The Netherlands (1978). She is a multidisciplinary performance artist, working primarily with performances, public interventions, installations and artist books. Roos Hoffmann often invites people at a location in public space or in the art venue to join her performances. The possibilities for interaction and communication, in relation to spatiality are reoccurring themes in her work.
