atelier:performance #18 - Bärbel Kasperek

Die gebürtige Hannoveranerin Bärbel Kasperek, (Studium der Germanistik, Soziologie, Politologie), arbeitete als Schauspielerin, Regisseurin, Dramaturgin und Theaterpädagogin an der Theaterwerkstatt Hannover, am Schloßtheater Moers, Theater Oberhausen, Thalia Theater Hamburg und am Schauspielhaus Bochum. In jüngerer Zeit hat sie sich besonders der Fotografie und der Bildenden Kunst zugewandt.

Arbeiten von Bärbel Kasperek und in Kollaboration mit ihrem Ehemaann F. P. Kelm befinden sich in deutschen, französischen und japanischen Kunstsammlungen. Für eine Gemeinschaftsarbeit bekamen sie 2009 den ver.di Fotopreis "Rollenbilder".

Für das Studio: Ilka Theurich hat sie eine neue Performance mit dem Titel Kontaktzone entwickelt.

The native Hanoverian Bärbel Kasperek, (studied German, sociology, political science), worked as an actress, director, dramaturge and theatre pedagogue at the Theaterwerkstatt Hannover, the Schlosstheater Moers, Theater Oberhausen, Thalia Theater in Hamburg and the Schauspielhaus Bochum. More recently, she has been particularly interested in photography and visual arts.

Works by Bärbel Kasperek and collaborations with her husband F. P. Kelm are in German, French (Perpignan) and Japanese (Nagoya) art collections. In 2009 they received the ver.di photo prize "Rollenbilder" for teamwork.

For the Studio: Ilka Theurich she developed a new performance with the title Kontaktzone.
